How it Started
In early 2023, I committed to and began to prepare for a new life. My kids were grown and progressing toward independence, I could do my work from anywhere, and I had been in California for more than half of my life.
It was time to try something new.
So I decided to begin some kind of extended road trip in 2024. Planning this has been a fun process over the past year-plus. As of this writing (March 31, 2024), I'm less than two weeks away from putting it into action.
I plan to live about a month at a time in a variety of different places, mostly in the US, but with some international locations mixed in. I'll do this until I get tired of it, or until I find a place I don't want to leave.
Will this last a few months or a few years? I have no idea! Check in every once in a while to see how it's going.
